Togakushi

The Togakushi Shrine includes various well- known “power spots” that are visited by people from all over the country. In addition to serving the spiritual needs of worshipers and pilgrims, the Togakushi area offers many other activities including the Togakushi Ninja Museum, traditional arts and crafts, campsites, a botanical garden, and much more. Togakushi is also known for its nationally-famous Togakushi soba buckwheat noodles.

Enjoy the beautiful landscape as the many trees on the Togakushi Mountain Range reflect off of the pond.

13:00Depart for Lake Nojiri.  
14:00Arrive at Lake Nojiri. Visit the shores of the lake and the famous Nojiriko Naumann Elephant Museum.
15:30Visit the Shinano roadside market:
Enjoy shopping and checking the local fruits and vegetables.
16:00Take the Shinanomachi interchange to get on the expressway to head home.
